British EYFS – Our Programme

At La Maluk Village, we follow the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) — the internationally recognised framework for children from birth to 5 years.

EYFS goes beyond academics. It provides a holistic approach that nurtures language, social-emotional growth, confidence, independence, and physical development, laying a strong foundation for future learning.

This flexible programme is perfectly suited to Dubai’s multicultural and multilingual environment.

EYFS is not simply an educational programme — it is a holistic approach to a child’s development.

It helps children:

  • develop language and communication skills,

  • understand their emotions and interact positively with others,

  • explore the world through play, experimentation, and discovery,

  • strengthen motor skills, focus, independence, and confidence.

The programme is internationally recognised, highly flexible, and perfectly suited to Dubai’s multilingual and multicultural environment.

Our Teaching Principles

Play-Based Learning

Children learn naturally through play. Purposeful, engaging activities develop creativity, coordination, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Small Groups & Individual Attention

Low teacher-to-child ratios ensure personalised guidance, where every child is seen, heard, and supported.

Gentle, Positive Guidance

We use respectful communication, emotional coaching, and positive behaviour strategies, helping children regulate emotions and interact kindly.

Responsive Planning

Activities are planned around children’s interests, developmental stage, and cultural backgrounds, creating meaningful and personalised learning experiences.

Strong Parent Partnership

Families are integral to learning through daily updates, photo sharing, progress reports, and collaborative goal-setting.
