About Us
Inclusion & Support for Children with SEN

Our Approach to Inclusion
We follow a child-centred, EYFS-aligned approach that adapts learning to each child’s strengths, needs, and interests:
-
Individualised Learning: Educators use observation, flexible teaching strategies, and environmental adaptations to support participation in the EYFS programme.
-
Respectful Support: Children receive guidance and encouragement in a safe, nurturing environment.
-
Observation-Based Planning: Daily monitoring ensures each child’s progress is understood and supported.
How We Identify & Support Individual Needs
At La Maluk Village, every child is valued and supported to thrive at their own pace.
Our inclusive learning environment ensures that all children, including those with special educational needs (SEN),
have equal access to activities and are guided with care, respect, and emotional safety.
1. Early Identification
-
Continuous observation of developmental milestones across key EYFS areas.
2. Partnership with Families

Open, collaborative discussions about children’s strengths, achievements, and areas for support.
-
Shared strategies to support learning at home and in the centre.
3. Individualised Learning Adaptations

Adjusting tasks, materials, and learning environments.
-
Providing visual aids, structured routines, and sensory support.
-
Small-group or one-to-one assistance when needed.
-
Emotional and behavioural support throughout the day.
4. Individual Support Plans (ISP)
-
Developed with parent consent for children requiring structured support.
-
Include targeted goals, teaching strategies, social interaction guidance, and scheduled progress reviews.
-
Confidential and fully accessible to parents.
When further assessment or therapy is recommended (speech, occupational, or psychological support):
-
We consult parents first and proceed only with their consent.
-
Recommendations are integrated into daily routines.
-
A unified approach is maintained between centre, family, and specialist to ensure consistent support.
